Sikandar Box Office Day 4

Salman Khan’s Sikandar has seen a major drop at the box office, earning just ₹9 crore on Day 4. Despite a strong start, poor word-of-mouth and weak content are now pulling the film down.

After a decent opening with ₹82.17 crore in just three days, Salman Khan’s Sikandar took a major hit on its fourth day. The film earned only ₹9 crore on Wednesday, showing a sharp 55% drop from Tuesday’s numbers. Here’s a look at the day-wise box office data of Sikandar:

  • Day 1: ₹30.06 cr
  • Day 2: ₹33.36 cr
  • Day 3: ₹18.75 cr
  • Day 4: ₹9.1 cr
  • Total: ₹91 cr (Approx) four days

With this, the total box office collection is around ₹91 crore. While it is expected to cross ₹100 crore by Friday, the film is falling short of the high expectations, especially considering it’s a big Eid release starring Salman Khan.

Trade experts are now predicting that Sikandar might wrap up its lifetime business around ₹130 crore. For a big-budget Salman film, that’s quite underwhelming. To give some perspective, his 2014 hit Kick had almost double the collection.

The movie pulled in decent crowds during the first three days, thanks to Salman’s fan following and Eid festivities. However, once the Eid period was over, poor word-of-mouth, outdated story, and a lack of buzz started affecting its performance.

This sharp decline highlights how even star-driven films can struggle if the content doesn’t connect with today’s audience. Sikandar is a clear example of how even a big-budget film can go off track. The responsibility doesn’t lie with just one person — the creative team, production crew, and even lead star Salman Khan all share the blame.

The film might earn a bit more over the next few days, but starting Monday, it’s likely to struggle as negative word-of-mouth spreads. It might be the right moment for Salman to rethink and reinvent his choices moving forward.
